's Esso Thailand is expanding its lubricants business and will emphasise its Mobile 1 premium autoservice centres.Encouraged by the suc¬cess of 800 centres in China, the company has opened eight here and will increase that to 100 by 2010.

Gold and zinc income to fall
The Primary Industries and Mines Department expects to earn Bt1.56 billion in fees this fiscal year, down 5.6 per cent from last year due to poorer results from gold and zinc operations.
The department gives 60 per cent of the fees to local administrative organisations and the rest to the govern
ment.The top five fee earners are tartar, coal, gypsum, steel ore and gold.

Gosun sells steamed rice and chicken dishes. It opens about 15 shops a month, but that number has now fallen to five.
