PAD supporters guard ASTV
About 500 People's Alliance for Democracy supporters gathered outside ASTV channel after the PAD leaders announced at their rally stages at Makkhawan Bridge and at the Government House that the government is planning to shut down the station.
About 100 reporters and staff of ASTV station at Ban Phra Arthit where they broadcast live the PAD rally.
Maj General Chamlong Srimuang, a leader of the PAD said the PAD would continue its protest to fight against the dictatorship even though the government announced Emergency Decree. He called on its supporters to keep up their fighting and more to come out against the government.
