PAD seizes official documents in Government House

The People's Alliance for Democracy seized all the documents involving hiring, procurement and purchase of government projects kept inside the Government, Permanent Secretary Chulayuth Hiranyawasit said yesterday.



He added that the officials from his agency went into the Government House to bring some documents out so that they can continue working. They found that those documents had been taken by the PAD.

Government House officials will use temporary workplaces at the publishing house of the Secretariat of the Cabinet and at the Office of Public Relation on Soi Aree, Cabinet secretary general Surachai Pooprasert said yesterday.

Office of the Permanent Secretary of the PM's Office and the Government Spokesman team will work at the Public Relations Department at Soi Aree.

Government Spokesman Wichianchok Sukchotirat said 3,000 Government House officials must report to work with their superiors at the temporary workplaces. The government will seek cooperation with the PAD to get document on the organisation of the Royal funeral of the HRH Princess Kalaya Vadhana and complaints filed by the public to the Consumer Protection Board.

Deputy Prime Minster will work at the ministry they oversee. Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Kowit Wattana will work at the Interior Ministry. Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister Somchai Wongsawat will work at the Education Ministry. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Surapong Suebwonglee will work at the Finance Ministry. Deputy Prime Minister Sanan Kachornprasart will work at the Foreign Ministry. PM's Office Minister will work at the Office of the Public Relation at Soi Aree.
