Suriyasai: military official seen at explosion scene

Suriyasai Katasila, a coordinator of the People's Alliance for Democracy said on Monday the explosion at a polic booth at Pracha Kasem Intersection on Krungkasem Road was the work of an ill-intentioned group with political motivation to blame and inflict fear on the PAD. "But we will continue our sit-in protest to oust the government,'' he said.





He said he was told that Maj General Khattiya Sawadipol, Army specialist was seen at the scene close to the time of the explosion at 1 AM.

The traffic police booth was not far from the PAD stage at Makkhawan Bridge. Police from Nang Lerng Police Station inspected the scene but have yet to indicate the type of the explosive.
