Three days of mourning
The country will be in mourning from November 14 to 16 during the threeday royal cre¬mation ceremony for HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana.
The late Princess is the sister of His Majesty the King, and contributed much to society.
Flags will fly at halfmast, and all businesses will be asked to refrain from or reduce entertainment activities.
The Royal Crematorium for the late Princess will be open to the public from September 7. People can visit each Sunday during one of three daily tours.
The first tour is reserved for VIPs and will be guided by the man in charge of building the site, Avuth Ngernchuklin.
Handbooks will be given out detailing the site. Fineart experts will guide the tours.
