Dusit to launch Dubai residence

Dusit Residence Dubai Marina is due to open late this year. The 35-storey landmark tower will contain 146 premier serviced residences overlooking Dubai Marina.

With a location in the heart of Dubai's new development, the property aims to cater to high-end business and leisure travellers.

"For business travellers, we are only five minutes away from Dubai Media City, Knowledge Village and Dubai Internet City," said general manager Dalip Singh.

Leisure guests will be within easy reach of Ibn Battuta and Mall of the Emirates as well as lifestyle facilities at the marina, he added.

The contemporary five-star units are tastefully designed with a comprehensive range of integrated facilities for short-term and long-staying guests.

The operator will also offer meeting rooms as well as mobile office support that can be installed in the guest's residence, complete with secretarial assistance if necessary.

Dusit Residence Dubai Marina is the third Dusit property in Dubai. It has an unbranded residence in Al Barsha and the flagship Dusit Thani Dubai Hotel, which opened in 2001 in the financial centre.

"We have another three properties to come on the island of Palm Jumeirah that are due for completion within the next few years," said Singh.

The group will be launching in Abu Dhabi before the end of next year and the Dusit Thani Lake View Hotel in Cairo is due to open in January 2009.
