Receiving returns per day or week brings enormously higher returns per annum.

Do not worry too much about the exdividend effect, a phenom¬enon in which the price of a stock falls on the first day the stock reach¬es its exdividend date or the first day the share purchaser is no longer entitled to receive a dividend. The share price historically returns to or exceeds what it was prior to the exdividend price in the nottoodis¬tant future.
For example, Siam Cement's closing price the day before it was marked XD on August 4 stood at Bt171 a share. The price fell to Bt166 on the XD date but eventually swung back to Bt171 on August 6 and Bt175 on August 7.
