TNPC returns to profit

Thai Nam Plastics Plc resurrected from quarterly net loss, following the completion of a debt restructuring deal.



 The company said in the statement to the Stock Exchange of Thailand that the second-quarter net profit rose to Bt254 million, compared to the net loss of Bt2.14 million in the same period last year.

 While its operating profit was only Bt12.52 million in the quarter, the company gained Bt245 million from the debt restructuring as well as the reverse of provisions into net profit. The company in the quarter successfully refinanced its debt with a commercial bank.
