Asia Plus rides over storms

Asia Plus Securities posted a 49.50 per cent increase in quarter net profit, thanks to higher brokerage fees and profits from proprietary trading business. Asia Plus Securities posted a 49.50 per cent increase in quarter net profit, thanks to higher brokerage fees and profits from proprietary trading business.



 Its quarterly net profit rose to Bt176.85 million from Bt127 million last year.

 

The company in a statement to the exchange said its proprietary trading business's profits in the quarter rose to Bt189.65 million, from Bt106 million last year. Meanwhile, brokerage fees also climbed to Bt284 million, from Bt230 million despite market volatility.
