ADVERTISING AGENCY

Creative Juice thinks creatively

Creative Juice\G1 has reshuffled its structure by grouping many busiŽness units into three main departments.

The advertising agency has also set up Media Arts Consulting as one of the three departments, aimed at serving a change in behaviour by consumers and advertisers.

It has adjusted new executives to lead the three main business units after two executives resigned early this year.

Creative Juice aims to achieve revenue growth of 10 to 12 per cent this year as well as to become the best ad agency in Thailand.

It appointed Phongsuree Assanasen as CEO to oversee overall perŽformance and backoffice operations, including account manageŽment, administrative offices, IT, accounting and traffic.

Witawat Jayapani and Theerasak Thanaphatthanakul stepped down from coCEO positions to be chief media arts consultant and chief creative officer respectively.

Witawat said Media Art Consulting would tackle the change in conŽsumers' behaviour as they switch from traditional media channels such as TV, radio, newspapers and magazines to new outlets such as the Internet and mobile phones.

Advertisers are spending less on traditional media. The spending is estimated to dramatically drop within the next five years. Witawat said this would significantly affect the performance of advertising agencies, including Creative Juice.

Formerly, the agency had a creative department as its main department to create adverts, mainly for traditional media channels, and to plan use of media channels. It later set up a media house department to specialise in planning the use of media.

The separation significantly decreased revenue for its main creŽative department.

Witawat said the changing behaviour of both consumers and advertisers was happening worldwide.

The agency set up Media Art Consulting to provide integrated services, including being a consultant for corporate clients to plan marketing and advertising strategies, plan media use and help create new products for specific brands.
