Producers see expo as a sign of the times

The Advertising and Sign Producing Association believes this year's signage business will grow by at least 10 per cent, opening the door for members to hit new international markets. Chairman Yuvaphol Pornprathanwech said the association, in addition to driving its members to expand business into new markets and create more business opportunities, was urging members to participate in the Sign Asia Expo '08, to be held at Impact Muang Thong Thani from September 25 to 28.

The event is expected to boost local sales by 10 per cent or more than Bt240 million from last year's level.

The overall market is worth Bt4 billion.

The expo organisers, besides showcasing innovations and state-of-the-art technologies, has invited international advertising and signage associations from the US, India, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea and China, to take part.

It is also intended to open a window of business opportunity for those from overseas to learn about a variety of cutting-edge products manufactured by Thai entrepreneurs, as well as opening the door for local businesses to expand into new overseas markets. - The Nation
