Thanachart lures new clients to new branches

Thanachart Bank offers 5 per cent interest for a new three-month deposit campaign, launched to attract new deposits to newly-opened branches.

Deposits from Bt100,000 to Bt5 million are entiled to the annual interest rate of 5 per cent, to mark the opening of the 200th branch in July. Ten more are scheduled for opening in August. The new accounts are available only at newly-opened branches, within the first 15 days of operations.

Praphan Anupongongarch, senior vice president, said that the new branches to be opened this month will be located in provinces and several areas in Bangkok: Chiang Mai, Asoke, Sukhumvit Soi 47, Phahurat, Bang Bua Thong, Lad Phrao Soi 101, Buddhamondhol 4, Pak Nam, Pattanakarn, and Pattalung.
