New schools

Four more secondary schools will be built in Bangkok to cope with ever increasing numbers of Mathayom 1 students.

The schools will be ready for the start of the next school year, the Basic Education Commission says.

Its head, Kasama Varavarn na Ayudhya says the new Triam Udom Suksak Suwinthawong School will be built in the east of the city and the new Suankularb School in central Bangkok. Each school will cost Bt70 million.

Additional classrooms will be built at Bang Bua School and Thai Rath Wittaya 75 School to allow them to accept lowersecondary level students.
