Conrad Bangkok Hotel has wel¬comed new general manager Manfred Pieper.

His role is to ensure that the hotel and the Conrad Bangkok Residences remain a top choice among business and leisure trav¬ellers in the region.

Pieper has extensive experience in hotel management and his career with Hilton Hotels Corp in AsiaPacific spans 20 years. Prior to his new role, Manfred was general manager of the Hilton Guam Resort & Spa and the Hilton Tokyo. He has also held the position of vice presi¬dent (Japan, East Asia and Micronesia), looking after 12 Hilton International properties, including the Hilton Bangkok.

Pieper replaces Gregory Meadows as general manager at the Conrad Bangkok.

The 391room Conrad Bangkok has received a number of awards and accolades, including Conde Nast Traveller's Gold List 2008 and 2007, Top 50 Hotels in Asia, Travel & Leisure Magazine's World Best Awards 2007 and Best Business Hotel in the 2007 Travel Weekly (Asia) Industry Awards.

The Conrad Bangkok Residences boasts 112 suites with fully equipped kitchens that define modern luxury living.

Spread across seven storeys of the hotel, they range from studio suites to one and twobedroom deluxe suites.
