Suvarnabhumi serves 21 million passengers

The Suvarnabhumi Airport accommodated a number of 21.2 million passengers during the first six months of this year, according to the airport's director Serirat Prasutanont.

Of total, 17.6 million were international travellers and 3.6 million were domestic travellers.

Compared to the same period last year, the number of international travellers rose 8.17 per cent while the number of domestic travellers dropped 29.40 per cent.

Don Mueang Airport now serves as another airport for domestic flights.
