A total of 61 units were snapped up for a total value of Bt731.81 million at the successful grand opening of The Lofts Southshore last month.

The project has now recorded a sale of 67 units worth Bt772 million or 40 per cent of the first phase release.

The company has so far released units only on floors six to 26 in Phase 1 of the 37-floor Tower A.

Cornick said early buyers would get the added benefit of prices immune to rising construction costs across the industry in Thailand .

"We always knew that this top-class, luxury project was going to be highly sought after, but we were taken aback by the incredible response from buyers," he said.

The Lofts Southshore, located in the centre of Pattaya, is a preferred destination for Asians.

Perched on a hill in the Kao Pratamnak area overlooking Pattaya Bay, the project, just minutes from downtown and the beach, offers a stunning 360-degree view of the sea, Pattaya City and surrounding areas.

The residential units range from 34-square-metre studios to one, two- and three-bedroom units of 58 to 169 square metres.

Duplexes are also available, as are spacious 259 square-metre penthouses with private gardens.

The project is expected to be completed in 2012.
