IT City witnesses continued growth

IT City posted Bt2.9 billion in firsthalf revenue, 8.69 per cent up year on year, and the net profit of Bt86.83 million or a 31.75 per cent growth rate.



In the second quarter alone, revenue topped Bt1.47 billion with the growth of 5.96 per cent, and the net profit of Bt46.42 milliont with the growth of 27.91 per cent comparing to the same period last year.

 Kamol  Juntima, the company's chairman, contributed the growth mainly to the continuously growing IT market and the opening of new branches.

 In the first half, it opened two new branches, bringing the total number to 33 branches. He said as purchasing power remains high for IT products, as they are used to used to increase the efficiency for both business and learning.

 In the second half of the year 2008, the company will continue to expand the new branches as well as new products to serve the home and individual customers and will control expenditure appropriately to the economic situation and the company's revenue capability.
