Pojaman's conviction not a Democrat victory but justice served: Abhisit

The three defendants, Khunying Pojaman Shinawatra, Bhanapot Damapong and Kanchanapa Honghern, can avail themselves to the appellate review, Abhisit said.

"I have no comments on the guilty verdict because justice should be allowed to run its course," he said.

As opposition members, the Democrats are duty-bound to act like a checking mechanism but it is up to all parties concerned to ensure justice, he said.
