Somsak tipped to join the Cabinet; Ranongrak quits
House Deputy Speaker Somsak Kiartsurannot on Wednesday said he had tendered his resignation since Tuesday to pave way for the Cabinet line-up.

Somsak still retains his House seat and is slated for the position of Social Development and Human Security Minister.
He will replace incumbent Minister Chaovarat Chanweerakul who is expected to secure the public health portfolio.
Deputy Finance Minister Ranongrak Suwanchawee has resigned effective on Wednesday and her successor will be appointed under the quota allocated to the Puea Pandin Party, Finance Minister Surapong Suebwonglee said.
