Eight projects up for BoI incentives

The Board of Investment will today consider tax incentives for eight projects with a combined investment of Bt83.88 billion.

Included are One-Two-Go's plan to lease eight aircraft and Sukhothai Petroleum's Bt30-billion project. However, high financial risks may lead to the board rejecting these two applications, a source said.

The other six projects are: a 700-megawatt power plant from Ghoco-One; two electricity and steam-generating projects from IRPC and PTT Utility; biodiesel production by Green Alliance; motorcycle assembly by Triumph Motorcycle (Thailand); and cold-rolled sheet production by Star Corp.
