Govt supporter accidentally burnt at NCCC

A member of Democratic Alliance against Dictatorship (DAD) on Tuesday got a big burnt by accident after other DAD protesters were trying to burn a coffin as a gesture to oust nine National Counter Corruption Commission (NCCC) members outside the NCCC Office.



As the DAAD protesters were pouring oil and setting ablaze the coffin, The fire flared up and leaping flames from the fire caught the shirt of 45-year-old Tiang Pakdirat, a native of Sukhothai province.

He suffered burns on his right arm, body and right thigh. Police who were keeping security nearby helped stop the fire and sent him to hospital.

About 50 DAD protesters were calling for the resignation of nine NCCC commissioners accusing them of takign the posts without taking an oath of allegiance before His Majesty the King. They carried placards saying "No Shame"
