Two PPP MPs from Udon Thani yellow carded

The Election Commission on Wednesday ruled to issue two yellow cards - disqualifying two MPs of the People Power Party on grounds for vote-buying though allowing them to contest the byelection.

Under the disqualification process, the EC will petition for the judicial review by the Supreme Court before organising the byelection.

The disqualified MPs are Wichien Khaokham and Kriengsak Faiseengam from Udon Thani's constituency 4.

The two's vote canvassers linked to the vote-buying will be prosecuted for fraud under the criminal proceedings.
