Pongsak Semsan is expected to pass on information about the bribery allegation in the Bt125-million Klong Saen Saeb water-tunnel project to Bangkok Governor Apirak Kosayodhin tomorrow.
{Pongsak also has to get information from the Japanese Embassy and the Foreign Ministry about Nishimatsu Construction whose former executive is being investigated by the Tokyo district public prosecutors. He has admitted bribing Thai officials for a Bt2-billion tunnel project in 2003.
Asset-freeze move
The National Counter Corruption Commission will meet tomorrow to decide on whether it has the right to freeze Bt69 billion in assets of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
The decision will be reached after NCCC commissioner Vichai Vivitsewee expressed doubt if the NCCC had the authority as the agency has less authority than the now-defunct Assets Examination Committee.
