
Once through, a comprehensive report is provided, mapping the client's risk profile according to four categories: financial risk, strategic risk, compliance risk and operational risk. It also measures how effectively these risks are currently being managed and, more importantly, where there may be significant gaps.
"The most critical aspect of a successful insurance programme is understanding your company's basic risk profile," Marsh PB Thailand chief executive Robin Armstrong said.
"It sounds simple enough but, too often, clients purchase insurance without a detailed understanding of their risks, which can lead to higher premium costs, under-insurance or insurance for the wrong risks."
Risk Explorer enables Marsh to have target-orientated and relevant conversations with clients and prospective clients, bringing them to the solution phase more quickly, which saves time and money for the client, Armstrong said.
