Sornram apologises to PAD for remarks

Actor Sornram Theppitak yesterday apologised to the People's Alliance for Democracy after remaining silent for several days.

He was reportedly heckled by PAD supporters in Sing Buri after performing in a show to promote a new product for a local department store and again at a restaurant where he was dining last Saturday. "I did not think what I said would make people uncomfortable, and I'm not angry with anyone opposed to me. I do apologise for what I've said," he said.

He earlier criticised the PAD protest and some celebrities who have joined it, accusing them of causing trouble for the country.
