Thaksin faces suit for "altering AIS concession"

Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra will on Friday be indicted by the Office of the Attorney General for malfeasance for allegedly changing the AIS concession when he was in office.

Seksan Bangsomboon, director-general of the Department of Special Investigation's Special Litigation Division will file the suit at 10.30 AM with the Supreme Court's Criminal Division for Political Office Holder.

He said the OAG found that the alterations of the AIS concession case charged by the now-defunct Assets Examination Committee was complete and carried weight.
