Court disqualifies Yongyuth

The Supreme Court's Electoral Fraud Division on Tuesday has ruled to disqualify former House Speaker Yongyuth Tiyapairat for committing an electoral fraud in Chiang Rai, a source said.

Yongyuth is a People Power Party (PPP) party list MP and a PPP deputy party leader. The Election Commission as political registrar must set up a panel to probe whether there are grounds to dissove the PPP in connection to the offence committed by Yongyuth, according to Article 95 of the Political Party Act.
