Blue lagoon homes take off

The Suwannaphasri family, one of the land-owners in the area surrounding the Suvarnabhumi Airport, expects to close the sale of its "Blue Lagoon" project within the next year given the strong interest in the area.

The family, which has developed projects such as commercial buildings and apartments around the Ramkhamhaeng University's Bangna campus, and has also granted part of its land to the university, has developed the "Blue Lagoon" project through its company, Number One Housing Development.

The Blue Lagoon is built on 100 rai of land. The project offers 260 units with a cumulative worth of Bt2.7 billion.

Following the concept of modern tropical-style single houses, the project offers seven designs with living space between 171 square metres and 459 square metres. Prices range from Bt5 million to Bt24 million.

The Grand Blue Diamond's design is the most superior among all the designs. Units built with this theme are specially located near a lake. This area has nine units built over 138 square wah to 264 square wah with the actual living spaces ranging from 552 square metres to 790 square metres. The cumulative value of the zone is Bt360 million. Prices for units range from Bt25 million to Bt37 million.

Excluding the Grand Blue Diamond-themed units, the development of the project is divided into two phases.

The first phase consists of 160 units, of which 80 per cent has already been reserved.
