Chiya denies his charge for contempt

Public Health Minister Chaiya Sasomsap on Wednesday testified defending his charge for contempt at the Central Administrative Court.

Chaiya is facing the charge after he gave an interview seen as critical of the injunction against his decision to revamp the executive board of the Government Pharmaceutical Organisation.

After the court session, Chaiya said he will start handing out press briefings instead of giving verbal interviews.
