New Viera models from Panasonic

Panasonic has set aside a marketing budget of Bt300 million to promote its 12 new Viera plasma and LCD TV models.



They come with an Eco Mode, an automatic adjustment of TV brightness to ambient room light for gentle viewing and energy saving. They are also mercury- and lead-free.

To emphasise these special features, the Panasonic Viera Marathon: The World's Longest TV Watching campaign was set up at CentralWorld last week, Hirotaka Murakami, CEO of Panasonic Group in Thailand, said yesterday. - The Nation

Nokia devices

Nokia has unveiled two new stylish e-mail-optimised devices: the E71 and E66.

The slim multimedia computers offer easy access to a range of e-mail solutions. The sleek E71 with full QWERTY keyboard and the stylish, slide-to-open E66 easily mobilise a broad range of personal or professional messaging needs, including Microsoft Exchange, the world's most widely adopted corporate e-mail solution.
