London - Thailand's Tamarine Tanasugarn reached the Wimbledon quarter-finals on Monday with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Serbian second seed Jelena Jankovic.

Tamarine will face defending champion Venus Williams for a place in the semi-finals on Tuesday.

She became the first Thai to reach a Grand Slam quarter-final in the Wimbledon fourth round.
