Thaksin may be summoned for police investigation

Police may summon former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra for questioning if his lawyers gave statements that link him in the Bt2-million pastry box case.



Metropolitan Police Region 1 commander Amnuay Nimmano said police would take not longer than one month to complete the investigation on whether to press charges of bribery against the three lawyers.

He said Thana Tansiri, the lawyer who delivered the pastry box was the key person who may  give important piece of information concerning Thaksin.
