Nam urged to resign for helping Apirak

Anti-Corruption and Political Reform Monitoring Group chairman Wanchai Chongcharoonhiran called on Assets Examination Committee chairman Nam Yimyaem to resign accusing him of discrimination and having conflict of interest after dropping investigation against Bangkok Governor Apirak Kosayodhin.

Wanchai submitted a letter to Nam and later said Nam should resign as chairman of the AEC investigative panel probing the fire-fighting equipment case or should refrain from voting due to the allegation over his son's promotion in the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.
