Search on for business team
The local chapter of Students in Free Enterprise will kick off today, to find the student team with the best business mind to represent Thailand in the World SIFE Expo in Singapore.
Singapore will host 40 teams in October to vie for the SIFE World Cup.
Competing for a place in Singapore are 23 Thai teams enlisted for the 2008 SIFE Thailand National Exposition. The winner will be announced late tomorrow.
The teams will design, develop and implement teaching principles of free markets and entre-preneurial community-based projects. They choose the project topics, target groups and the scheme's duration, and develop them with an understanding of markets, ethics and finance.
The exercise encourages students to develop management skills and improve the quality of life for a community.
