Abhiibhu Kittivittayakul Daily Xpress Badminton - Superman Boonsak Ponsana easily went through to the second round in the SCG Thailand Open Badminton Championships on Wednesday.

The Thai ace and second seed, spent only 28 minutes to beat Vasin Nilyoke 21-10 21-14 to set up a second round clash with  Jan O Jorgensen from Denmark tonight.

       "I feel good that I can go through the second round. Everybody came to support me and every other Thai player.  Next I' m going to be focused with the second round match tonight with Jorgensen. He is a tough player and it's going to be a tough match for me." Boonsak said.

       "My goal is to play Lin Dan in the final is. It will be an interesting match.  He is the world's number one who is fast and dangerous. It will be great for me if I can beat him in Final." Boonsak indicated.

        Apart from Boonsak, four countrymen also advanced to the second round.  Suppanyu Avihingsanon spent 44 minutes to beat Jen Hao Hsu from Taipei [11-21, 21-16, 21-13]. Poompat Sapkulchananart beat Yong Zhao Ashton Chen from Singapore in 59 minutes [23-21, 19-21, 21-16]. Parinyawat Thongnuam beat Kwong Beng Chan in 36 minutes [23-21, 19-21, 21-16], and Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk, who beat Indonesian challenger in 42 minutes [14-21, 21-11, 21-9].

       Meanwhile, Salakjit Ponsana, Boonsak's sister, followed her brother to the second round which she spent only 21 minutes to beat Aditi Mutatkar of India [21-17, 21-1].

      "I'm pleased with my performance but I can't expect highly because all Chinese challengers are strong and dangerous in this tournament. I'm still having some injuries so I'm only 70% confident." Said Salakjit, who will play Chinese third, seeded Chen Wang the second round tomorrow.
