Website owner and managing director, Jirathorn Ansvananda, said the website was opened in 2007, and offers "the most complete guides to travelling in Thailand , whether it is hotels, resorts, national park bungalows, or home stays."
Top destinations and the overall atmosphere of their surroundings, facilities and other services are featured in detail to help travellers plan their trips before setting out on.
"We are offering is in-depth travel information presented in a multimedia format of video clips, still images and feature articles," Jirathorn said.
He said up to 50,000 visitors are expected to log on to the website per month and he aims to get five banner advertising accounts per month with total value of Bt250,0000.
Besides travel and destination guides, the website also includes features on local communities and their people in each destination, so that travellers can have direct, first-hand information, which he says is something that a tour package can never offer.
"Travelling is just like the practice of an art. It needs both experience and sound planning. There are a lot of details to be thought of when deciding to go on a trip to make it more enjoyable."
The company will soon make some changes to accommodate G3 access via mobile devices, which are expected to be the prime mode of Internet surfing in the near future. Content will be available in English as well as Thai and also include information on tourist destinations in neighbouring countries.
