The company was established in November last year with Bt2-million registered capital and became fully operational in the second quarter this year. It currently has 30 websites, mainly news websites, in its network and is negotiating with another 10.
At the same time, it bought a working tool licence from DoubleClick called "Ad Server" which enables the company to manage online advertising channels on the 30 websites.
The company targets revenue of between Bt30 million and Bt40 million by this year-end.
"We will help our clients to find the most suitable websites for their advertisements," said account manager Volrapon Marayong.
He added that advertisers currently only recognise a few top websites for advertising. In reality they want to have more websites to expose their brands but it is quite difficult to keep contact with each website one-on-one and explain their advertising expectations and all ad details. Synergy E, however, manages all these details.
Volrapon said the audience of the news websites were people aged 25 and up. The websites can also lead them to other large networks, including business/finance, IT and entertainment.
He said the company could reach an audience of 4.4 million.
Its current corporate clients include the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Sony Thailand, Toyota, HP, SCB and Sicco.
According to the National Electronics and Computer Technology Centre (Nectec), there were 13.4 million Internet users in Thailand in 2007. Users older than 25 increased from 36 per cent in 2005 to 50 per cent in 2007. Nectec estimated the number of users would rise to 15.5 million this year.
