"Our team of lawyers was not involved in the attempt to change the panel of judges. We feel that the Supreme Court will give us justice," Pichit said.
"We do not need to do it. It was not even in our thoughts," he added.
The Supreme Court on Wednesday set up a committee to investigate an alleged attempt to bribe judges by a politician's lawyer.
The move came after an official of the Supreme Court's Political Division for Political Office Holders received the box and later returned it after discovering the money inside.
"I am confident that the factfinding panel can find out [the truth] about the attempted bribery allegation," Pichit said.
Pichit admitted that he and other lawyers went to the court on June 10, as they were assigned by Thaksin and his wife, Khunying Pojaman, to file a request to report to the Supreme Court.
He said they were there no longer than 30 minutes and did not bring any gifts for court officials.
