Prasopsuk wants govt to answer motion on June 23
A group of Senators filed an urgent motion with Senate Speaker Prasopsuk Boondet to grill the government over its failure to address the skyrocketing cost of living.
Ten Senators led by Bangkok Senator Rosana Tositrakul submitted a list of 61 Senators who supported the motion.
Prasopsuk said he initially proposed that the government answer the interpellation from Senators on June 23.
Article 161 of the Constitution allows Senators to grill the government without voting on it.
