
The country general manager of IBM Thailand Thanwa Laohasiriwong said he has been collecting Bt10 banknotes as souvenirs for guests coming to the wedding party of his daughter who is currently in high school.
Thanwa was so impressed that his father collected one baht banknotes and presented them to the guests at his (Thanwa's) wedding. Since then, the IBM head has become a collector of old banknotes. "Their value is higher than the face value," Thanwa said.
