Samak will keep mouth shut over PAD protest

Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej met Army Chief General Anupong Paochinda and Police commissioner General Patcharawat Wongsuwan to discuss over the protest by the People's Alliance for Democracy.

Anupong and Patcharawat reportedly told police they would not use force against the PAD. Police would only monitor the protesters to ensure they do not break laws.

Samak would stop giving interviews about the anti-government protest.
