PAD sets firm root to oust the government

The People's Alliance for Democracy has built a permanent stage near Makkawan Bridge for its all-out campaign to oust the Samak government.

One day after Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej softened his stance dismissing his own remarks that he would use force to disperse the anti-government protesters, the PAD decided to build a permanent stage for their rally. They had previously resorted to trucks as the stage for addressing the rally.

Some PAD members camped out last night around the newly stage they built despite heavy rain.
