Indian tyre-maker takes over Thai company

   The company has an annual production capacity of 12,000 tonnes of dipped-nylon tyre-cord fabric, with annual sales of US$50 million (Bt1.62 billion).

   The transfer of management control is expected to take a few months, subject to approval of the rehabilitation process by the Thai judicial system, said SRF managing director Ashish Bharat Ram.

Four Soft to manage PTTPL logistics

Four Soft, a global leader in providing software solutions for transportation and logistics, on Monday announced it was chosen by PTT Group subsidiary PTT Polymer Logistics (PTTPL) to deploy its 4S eTrans transportation application across PTTPL's multiple locations in Bangkok, to support its trucking business.

   The 4S eTrans application is an online Web-based application that seamlessly integrates air, ocean and lorry operations with an in-built freight-accounting module.
