
He was telling the PAD supporters before leaving to the Parliament in the morning. He asked them whether they would suport the leaders by being their witnesses.
Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej denied reports that the government would take legal action against PAD leaders by resorting to Internal Security Act.
He said he would rest the responsibility on overseeing the PAD protest with the police because he did not want to be accused of being a dictator.
He said Thai diplomats expressed concern during its annual international caucus that the protest by the PAD would erode foregin investor confidence and suspend their investment in the country.
Samak said the PAD protest is not necessary since the government is planning a public referendum on Constitution amendment.
