Anupong urges police to boost security

Army Chief general Anupong Paochinda on Monday urged police to increase security following stiff confrontation between the People's Alliance for Democracy and pro-constitution amendment group last night.

Anupong said police must step up security to prevent both sides from clashing.

He said the military has no plan to intervene because he believe police can control the situation.
