Chitrapongse Kwangsukstith, senior executive vice president, said yesterday greater Bangkok would have 130 NGV stations by next month and 193 by year-end, up from 94 at present. Five more super stations are planned by September, where 40 vehicles can be accommodated at a time. This year, fleet-truck stations will rise from 11 to 58.
The Energy Business Department will negotiate with 25 LPG station owners to shift their selling to NGV. Mobile NGV stations would be deployed where traffic is congested.
Nationwide, from less than 180 stations now, there would be 245 by next month and 335 by December.
NGV supply will be increased from 1,025 tonnes per day currently to 5,464 tonnes at year's end.
