
The company is expecting to post a revenue figure of Bt6 billion this year, marking a 15-per-cent growth rate.
The group's managing director Vikorn Vivithkunaporn said Dcom Group comprises three companies including Dcomputer, D Logis and Services and D Distribute and Marketing.
He said Dcomputer will focus on in-house branded products, such as desktop computers, MP3 players and IT-peripheral products. Meanwhile, D Logis will take care of the distribution of local products and D Distribute and Marketing will act as a distributor of international products selling through Dcom shops and dealers nationwide.
The company will also offer home entertainment, home security, home communication and home networking products.
Vikorn said the company will use an IT management solution, called Balance Management for High Performance System (BMHP), to boost productivity.
"We have reorganised to gain more competitiveness in the domestic and international market and to support our long-term strategy," he said.
Vikorn said the company has more than 40 product lines with 1,000 items such as hard disks, MP3 players, home-entertainment systems and networking products.
He said that the company distributes its products through 4,000 dealers and 55 Dcom shops nationwide. The company also expects to take its revenue figure to Bt10 billion in the next three years. It also plans to list on the stock market in the next couple of years.
