Honda Motor pledges Bt1 million for Cyclone Nargis victims



Asian Honda Motor has pledged Bt1 million to the Thai Red Cross Society to be used for relief assistance to those affected by the recent Cyclone Nargis in Burma.

In addition, Honda Motor has announced a ¥20 million (Bt6.18 million) donation to the Japanese Red Cross Society to be designated for the relief effort in Burma. Total monetary support from Honda Motor and Asian Honda Motor is about Bt7.2 million.

Honda said the assistance is part of its commitment to being a contributing member of society.

"Honda worldwide takes as its mission to extend a helping hand in times of need, including disaster relief," the company said.

ABG Group sets up anti-theft alarm system for free
