The Democrat Party will hold a public forum on plans to amend the Constitution at Parliament on Monday to hear differing opinions on the issue.
Opposition chief whip Sathit Wongnongtoey said the opposition felt it was not the time to push through amendments.
He said the dogmatic attitude of the government could only cause chaos, so any changes that need to be made should be postponed.
