B-Quik remains well on track

Automotive services retailer B-Quik is confident it can reach its revenue target this year of Bt1.4 billion after recording a sales-revenue increase in the first quarter of 20 per cent year on year.

Chief operating officer Henk Kiks said that despite the tough market competition, the company's sales revenue for the first quarter had increased.

The recent takeover of Shell Autoserv by Bridgestone Holdings Thailand and Bridgestone Tyre Sales (Malaysia) did not affect B-Quik, he said.

Shell Autoserv renamed its brand to ACT.

Kiks said that B-Quik would be more aggressive in marketing activities, both above and below the line, and would set up an additional 10 to 15 branches this year.

He said that the firm would provide alternative products to attract buyers by launching four series of economy tyres.
